Brief Biography

I was born in Russia and grew up there, later I moved to Latvia and stayed there for a period of time. In 1995, my family and I moved to Canada, where we have been living up until now. I have a university degree in Economics (with Honours) and I worked for the government as a financial specialist. From 1995, I worked as a Manager of the company that specializes in advertising and marketing on the Internet. Presently I work as a licensed real estate sales representative in the brokerage Century 21 St.Andrew's Realty Inc. (Greater Toronto Area, Canada).

I'm married and have one son. My husband is an IT specialist with PhD in Computer Science. He has also been involved in journalism and photography for many years. He is a member of The Canadian Association of Journalists. My son has obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. He continues his studies at the University of Toronto in the PhD program.

My hobbies

The passion of my life is travelling. My husband and I share this passion and we try to use every possibility to get away. Because my husband is a journalist and a photographer, we travel to places that are out of the path of "normal" tourists. I love sports, especially tennis (I mean big tennis) and mountain skiing. I also love snorkeling and scuba diving. I try to stay fit, do yoga exercises, weights and some wired poses and movements.

If you ask - how much do my interests and hobbies help me in my work? I would answer, that I wouldn't be able to maintain the high level of my professional skills without them. All my life experience gave me the ability to adjust to new environment and challenges, and helped me to better understand the life in other countries and people with different background. Therefore, I have a great advantage when working with my clients, many of whom came to Canada from different parts of the world.

We live in a complicated world and it is getting more complicated year-by-year. So it is becoming more and more challenging to perform professional duties on a high level. Real estate industry is not an exception, especially in Canada. During the past decade the rules, legal requirements, amount of documentation, and procedures have changed dramatically. The one who work in this field must now possess not only up-to-date knowledge in real estate, but have an experience and skills in other areas and have the ability to quickly adjust to new environments, face the challenges and use new options.

In my work I try to keep up with these challenges and use all modern tools and possibilities to provide my clients with services on the highest level.

I also firmly believe that it is very important to earn trust and respect from your client. Just to be a knowledgeable and dedicated specialist is not enough. I am always honest with my clients and sincerely care about them. I focus on their needs and make sure that they get the most of the purchase, or sale, or investment that I helped them with. At the end, what matters most is a happy client.
